Preparation

Getting your website ready for InfoComm

A simple plan around the dates of InfoComm. Adjust it to your team and your products.

  1. Step 1

    8 weeks before

Open your website on a phone as a visitor would and note what is slow or unclear. List what you will show at InfoComm in the Media, Entertainment & Broadcast sector and check that each item has its own page.

  2. Step 2

    4 weeks before

Describe each offer in plain words: who it is for, what problem it solves and how a visitor gets in touch. Add the languages your visitors read and a QR code that leads to a page made for InfoComm.

  3. Step 3

    Fair week

Test your contact form and the e-mail it sends on a phone. Capture every contact at the stand with one method and note what each visitor asked for.

  4. Step 4

    2 weeks after

Reply to every contact from InfoComm within days. Update your pages with the questions you heard most at the stand.

For media and broadcast exhibitors

What a media and broadcast website should show

Broadcasters, producers and rights buyers look for clear specifications, working demos and licensing details on a company website before a fair, and for a prompt, personal reply afterwards.

Dedicated product pages

Give each product or service its own clear page, for example a camera system, a streaming platform or a content catalogue, so broadcasters and producers can check specifications before they visit.

Mobile-ready demo videos

Check your site on a phone before the fair. Showreels, trailers and demo videos should start quickly, because visitors will open them while standing at your stand.

Multilingual rights information

Offer your key pages in the languages of your target markets, and have a rights and licensing page ready that distributors and international buyers can read without asking for a PDF.

Personal follow-up

Scan the business cards of producers, rights buyers and post-production leads at your stand, add a note on the project they described, and send each a personal follow-up within days.
