Getting your website ready for YugAgro
A simple plan around the dates of YugAgro. Adjust it to your team and your products.
-
Step 1
8 weeks before
Open your website on a phone as a visitor would and note what is slow or unclear. List what you will show at YugAgro in the Agriculture & Livestock sector and check that each item has its own page.
This date has passed. Do it this week.
-
Step 2
4 weeks before
Describe each offer in plain words: who it is for, what problem it solves and how a visitor gets in touch. Add the languages your visitors read and a QR code that leads to a page made for YugAgro.
This date has passed. Do it this week.
-
Step 3
Fair week
Test your contact form and the e-mail it sends on a phone. Capture every contact at the stand with one method and note what each visitor asked for.
-
Step 4
2 weeks after
Reply to every contact from YugAgro within days. Update your pages with the questions you heard most at the stand.
What an agriculture and livestock website should show
Farmers, dealers and breeders check specifications, supplier credentials and local support on a company website before they visit a stand, and return to it afterwards to follow up.
Dedicated product pages
Give each machine, seed variety or feed range its own clear page with specifications, so farmers and dealers can check your offer before they visit your stand.
Mobile-first testing
Test your site on a phone over a weak connection, because many visitors will open your pages standing in a crowded hall or a muddy yard.
Multilingual downloads
Offer key pages and downloads such as data sheets and animal-health guidance in the languages of your visitors, including those of neighbouring countries and export markets.
Fair QR code
Put a QR code on your stand that opens one page made for the fair, and scan business cards from dealers and breeders to capture each contact.
